Madrassah Timing
- Our online classes are held four days a week, from Monday to Thursday.
- The classes timing are as follows:
Pre-Primary & Level 1: 16.00 – 17.00
Level 2 & Level 3: 16.30 – 17.30
Level 4: 16.40 – 17.40
Level 5: 17.10 – 17.40
Level 6, 7, 8 & Adults: 18.20 – 19.20* - *The timing for Level 5-Adults classes is adjustable according to the prevailing Maghrib and Esha times. You will be notified of all timing changes.
- Each class session has a duration of 30 minutes, adjustable according to summer and winter seasons.
- Timetables are sent to students/guardians’ registered email addresses upon successful registration.
Examinations
- Our Online Madrassah follows the school calendar of three semesters; the first semester starting in January and ending in November.
- We conduct one assessment each during the first two semesters, and one final exam at the end of the third semester.
- After each exam, the students are entitled to their holidays, resuming more or less with the school calendar.
- The marks scored during the first two semesters are accounted for as a percentage for the final result at the end of the year, giving a fairer overview of the whole year’s performance.
Class Communication
Communication:
– All live classes are held via the Zoom App.
– Parents/Students are added to two Madrassah WhatsApp Groups:
* The first is a general WhatsApp group, created as a means of communication between the management and parents/students. All notices or messages from the management are communicated in this group.
* The second group is the class group. The student or parent is added to a class group corresponding to the student’s level in Madrassah.
– All official announcements and information are communicated either by email, the WhatsApp groups or our official Facebook Page.
– You can also view the announcements in the “announcements” section of our website.
How to use the Zoom App?
– Download the Zoom Cloud Meeting App. (It’s available in Android, IOS and Desktop version).
– No need to sign up/sign-in.
– Open the app and set your name (Set only once). Use the Student’s Full Name as registered in our records.
– Enter the teacher’s ID and the password found in the timetable.
– When connected, click on the mic icon and select “join with computer and phone audio”.
