About Us

Madrassah Uthmaan bin Affaan is a full-time online Madrassah. It falls under the Islamic Organisation Al Huda Wan Noor Trust Fund and it holds its office at Tegally Lane, Curepipe. It was founded in August 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic under the supervision of Dr. Yahyaa Boodhun. The Madrassah’s live classes are conducted by qualified teachers via the Zoom Cloud Meeting App.

Madrassah Uthmaan bin Affaan currently consists of nine levels, starting from Pre-Primary up to Adult classes, each student is admitted in the appropriate level based on his/her grade and level of previous knowledge; with each grade following a well-planned set of subjects, considering and caring for their age and level of comprehension.

One of the main features of our Online Madrassah is the integral part that technology plays in our education process, where everything is digitized. This also helps us to cover students of a wider geographical area across the island as well as abroad. The Online Madrassah was designed especially for those who want to acquire authentic knowledge but they don’t have access to a proper Madrassah that operates according to the Sunnah, or they are limited by time to drop and pick up their wards, opening a way for them to have access to authentic knowledge about their religion, despite their location and time restrictions.
