Terms and Conditions
Welcome to our online Madrassah! To ensure a smooth and positive learning experience for all students, we require every student and guardian to review and acknowledge the following rules and regulations before completing the registration process.
1. Student Eligibility & Registration
1.1 Age Requirements: Students must meet the age criteria for their grade level. The minimum age required is 4 years old.
1.2 Accurate Information: All personal details (name, address, age, email, etc.) provided during registration must be accurate. Any false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the Madrassah.
1.3 Accountability: By registering, students and guardians agree to uphold academic honesty and adhere to all madrassah policies throughout the enrollment process.
2. Code of Conduct
2.1 Respect and Etiquette: All students are expected to behave respectfully to teachers, staff, and fellow students. Bullying, harassment, or discrimination will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
2.2 Online Etiquette: During live lessons, discussions, or forums, students must engage in a constructive and respectful manner. Offensive language, inappropriate behavior, or disruption of the class will result in disciplinary action.
2.3 No Plagiarism: All work submitted must be the student’s own. Plagiarism (using someone else’s work without proper citation) or work done by parents is prohibited and will result in consequences.
3. Attendance and Participation
3.1 Class Attendance: Students are expected to attend scheduled classes and complete coursework within the timeframes outlined. If a student is unable to attend a class, they must notify the instructor in advance where possible.
3.2 Participation: Students must actively engage in online activities, including group discussions, assignments, and quizzes. Failure to participate may affect academic performance.
3.3 Make-up Work: If a student misses any lessons or assignments, it is their responsibility to make up the work. Extensions are not granted automatically and must be requested in advance.
4. Technology Requirements
4.1 Device & Software: Students must have access to a computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connectivity capable of running the necessary software and online platforms used in the course.
4.2 Platform Usage: Students agree to use the school’s designated learning platform(s) for all educational activities. Unauthorized software, tools, or external resources may not be used during lessons.
4.3 Security & Privacy: Students must adhere to all security and privacy protocols to protect personal data. Use of any technology in a manner that threatens the safety or integrity of school systems may result in suspension or dismissal.
5. Academic Integrity
5.1 Honest Evaluation: Students are expected to complete assessments (quizzes, tests, assignments) honestly and independently. Any form of cheating, including sharing answers or parents doing their wards’ assignment, will result in disciplinary action.
5.2 Assignments & Deadlines: All assignments must be submitted by the deadlines specified by the teacher. Late work may incur penalties unless an extension is granted due to exceptional circumstances.
5.3 Collaboration: Group work or collaborative activities should adhere to the guidelines provided by teachers. Unauthorized collaboration is considered academic dishonesty.
6. Communication
6.1 Respectful Communication: Students and guardians must communicate in a respectful manner with teachers, administrators, and other students. Harassment, threats, or abusive language will result in disciplinary action.
6.2 Email & Notifications: It is the responsibility of the student and guardian to check their registered email regularly for updates, announcements, and important school notifications.
6.3 Parent/Guardian Involvement: Parents and guardians are encouraged to maintain open communication with the Madrassah regarding their child’s progress and any issues that may arise.
7. Fees Payments
7.1 Tuition Fees: Students must ensure that all fees (tuition, materials, and any other associated costs) are paid promptly, on a monthly or annual basis. Unpaid balances may cause inconvenience in the good operation of the Madrassah.
7.2 Delayed Payment: Delay in the tuition fees must imperatively be communicated to the administrator.
7.3 Use of index Number: The index number assigned to each student must imperatively be included in the remarks section when making payments, to facilitate a proper recording of all your payments. In case of failure to include the index number while making payments, the Madrassah will not be held responsible of any recording errors, and you will be liable to complete payment of arrears, if such payments cannot be traced back, or proof of the same cannot be produced for verification.
7.4 Payment Validation: All payments made must be recorded and properly sent to the administrative department, by using the payment validation page found on our website. Failure to do so may result in wrong recordings, which could also show arrears. You will therefore be held fully responsible, and liable to produce payment proof for verification.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
8.1 Data Collection: By registering, students and guardians, consent to the collection and processing of personal data in compliance with privacy laws (such as GDPR or CCPA). This data is used solely for educational purposes.
8.2 Confidentiality: All student data will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law or for educational purposes as outlined in the privacy policy.
9. Modifications to Policies
9.1 Right to Amend: The Madrassah reserves the right to modify these rules and regulations at any time. Students and guardians will be notified of any changes and must acknowledge the new terms to continue participation in the Madrassah.
